Starting the search for your wedding dress can be exciting but also daunting.
One of the questions we get asked all the time is when should you actually start looking for your wedding dress?
Well, you can honestly never be too early! The earlier the better. But if we have to put a timeframe on it, then we would advise that you start looking for your wedding dress at least 12 months prior to your wedding day. This is to avoid any unnecessary panic and stress by allowing time for you to find that perfect dress, have the dress delivered to our studio and have any alterations.
But if you have a shorter time frame, don’t panic! Just get in contact with us so that we can chat through your options!
The journey to find your dream wedding dress is filled with excitement and anticipation, but it can also be quite daunting. The question that often lingers is, “When should I start looking for my wedding dress?” The answer may surprise you – the earlier, the better!
While there’s no such thing as starting too early in the hunt for your perfect gown, a general rule of thumb is to begin your search at least 12 months before your wedding day. Why? Because this allows for a cushion of time, ensuring you can explore, decide, and make any necessary alterations without the looming stress of a tight deadline.
Starting early not only alleviates unnecessary panic but also guarantees that you’ll have ample time to discover that perfect dress, place the order, and have it delivered to our studio. This cushion period is crucial in ensuring your wedding attire is ready and tailored to perfection.
However, we understand that wedding plans can sometimes come together in a shorter timeframe. In such cases, don’t worry, don’t panic – we’ve got your back! Get in touch with us, and we’ll work closely with you to explore your options and ensure that your dream dress becomes a reality, regardless of the time frame.
In our previous blog post, “Femininity Isn’t Always Wearing a Fitted Dress” we celebrated the various facets of bridal fashion, highlighting that timing is crucial, but so is embracing your unique style.
