At Feathers & Florence, we redefine the art of bridal shopping. As you step into our tranquil studio, you'll enter a realm of luxury designers, featuring House of Savin, Stephanie Allin, Edwina O'Gorman, and Bridal by Malina – a departure from the ordinary landscape of mass-produced bridal wear.
Your first date at Feathers & Florence will be nothing short of extraordinary. Enjoy an exclusive 2-hour appointment in our studio, browsing a curation of bridal styles designed for style-conscious brides who envision a truly show-stopping wedding dress.
Our expert stylist, Melissa, will guide you through our thoughtful edit of bridal styles. Melissa is dedicated to helping you discover your aisle style that effortlessly captures your dream aesthetic. The available designs seamlessly blend modern, editorial elegance with timeless, romantic sophistication, promising a bridal style that is both refined and unforgettable.
Our carefully considered collection eliminates the overwhelm of finding your wedding dress and allows you to immerse yourself in the moment, celebrating with your friends and family.
Our studio is open on an appointment only basis so that you can enjoy exclusivity of the studio to find your aisle style. Reserve your appointment by clicking 'book' at the top of the page.
To reserve an appointment, a non-refundable booking fee of £25.00 must be paid in advance. When you find your aisle style during your first appointment, we will deduct the booking fee from the investment of your dress.
Why make your life more stressful than it needs to be - leave the drama to Selling Sunset. We advise that you start looking for your wedding dress at least 12 months prior to your wedding day, allowing time for you to find that perfect dress, have the dress delivered to our studio and have any required alterations.
If you have a shorter time frame, please contact us so that we can advise you on dresses that are available at shorter notice.
You will have exclusivity of the studio and a boutique experience tailored to you, perfect for no more than 4 guests to attend your appointment so that they are comfortable.
In addition, from experience our brides have a more enjoyable experience with fewer guests as too many opinions can be overwhelming and confusing.
In the words of Mrs Kim from Gilmore Girls ‘you break, you pay!’ So trust us when we say you’ll enjoy your experience more when you are not being interrupted by or worried that your little one is yanking at delicate, white dresses!
You do not need to bring anything with you to your appointment. However, we do recommend that you wear undergarments that are a close match to your skin tone and a strapless bra if possible. You may also wish to bring along your wedding shoes or a shoe with similar heel height.
We kindly request that you refrain from wearing fake tan for your appointment. Fake tan permanently discolours the dresses and can ruin the experience of future brides, especially when their vision is an ivory dress rather than a wotsit orange dress.
You can wear makeup for your appointment but we request that you keep your makeup light and refrain from wearing lipstick or gloss that could discolour the dresses.
Our studio doesn't house an in-store seamstress,. We work closely with a highly recommended seamstress.
It's important to note that our dresses are available in standard sizes and may need alterations for a perfect fit tailored to your frame. We advise budgeting between £250 - £400 for alterations, ensuring your dress fits flawlessly.
There's a saying which goes something like this... you've got too many fingers in too many pies. Well, our finger is in one slice of pie. We specialise in helping brides find their aisle style which is why we stock bridal wear and accessories only and your appointment is focused on you.
For bridesmaids, head to Always The Bridesmaids or Bridesmaid by JB. For mother of the bride, good luck because it's a tough one! For anything else, Google it.

what you can expect
Upon discovering the gown that captures your heart, Melissa will take your measurements and secure a production slot with the designer of your dress. A 50% deposit is required to secure this slot.
Your wedding dress will arrive in our studio 2-3 months before your wedding day, prompting us to arrange with you your collection appointment. During this appointment, you will be able to soak up the magic moment of trying on your aisle style, with the final balance of your dress investment due.
